Explore Dilston Physic Garden with digital photography

The grounds of Dilston Physic Garden near Hexham are perfect for tranquil thought, reflection and, of course, photography! This is a free beginner's workshop run by award winning local landscape photographer David Taylor.

Aug 22 2018 - 5:00pm to Aug 22 2018 - 7:00pm

If you have a hankering to learn more about the subject of close-up photography then this is the workshop for you whilst exploring the garden at the same time. You don’t need any specialised equipment – cameras and phones with close-up focusing facilities will be more than suitable.

The workshop is being run as part of the First Time for Everything programme which is a programme run by the Royal Voluntary Service in partnership with Prudential encouraging older adults to try something new, for free.

The workshop is for anyone over the age of 50, the workshop is free and refreshments are provided too. Places are limited, to book your place, please contact Louise on louise.parker@royalvoluntaryservice.org.uk or on 07824 547 863 Louise works 10 hours a week so shall reply as soon as she is able.

Please be advised that Dilston Physic Garden car park is very small and there is another car park that can be used at Dilston Scout Camp if this is full. http://dilstonphysicgarden.com/parking/
